PERIPHERAL IO
Peripheral IO devices are responsible for transmitting physical state information, such as ambient light or occupancy, to an input module.
Photosensors
Photo-sensors are transducers that convert a light signal to an electrical signal. These devices are mounted in the ceiling approximately eight feet from the window. They are vital components to daylight harvesting. The way (and how) lights respond to a given photo-sensor are software selectable preferences, and can be adjusted online at any time.
Motion Sensors
Motion sensors are used to indicate the presence of an occupant during off hours. The way (and how) lights respond to a given photo-sensor are software selectable preferences and can be adjusted online at any time.
Wall Mounted Displays
A graphical interface allows users a visual mechanism to exert control over their lights. Manipulation is possible by a combination of a remote control or touch screen, or one or the other.
