Our web-control infrastructure is designed to accommodate thousands of simultaneous users so that personal lighting control can be given to each occupant within a high rise building. The profile of each tenant is maintained and stored so that the system keeps record of each person’s preferences, schedules and access privilege.

Industrial
The electrical systems found in industrial facilities are often characterized by poor power quality line transients, under-voltage and harmonics are common place. Fifth Light has designed its line of ballasts to be the most rugged in the industry. Their surge suppression ratings exceed all industry standards and are capable of operating reliably in harsh electrical environments. Our line of ballasts can maintain constant light levels, free of flicker, at dimming levels as low as 1% despite poor power quality.
Linking a DALI network of ballasts to an array of motion sensors through our control panel results in a solution that is flexible, low cost and easy to set up. Facility managers can adjust all system properties online, avoiding the need for manual rewiring. Parameters such as sensor to ballast groups, vacant and occupied light levels, power down sequences and timings can all be configured through the web.

Retail
Low operating costs, system standardization and online control are hallmarks of Fifth Light’s Solutions for retail facilities. The architecture of these Solutions has been designed for multi-building control from the ground up. They provide in-depth control, energy reporting and system maintenance capabilities for each facility through an online software application. This allows for the operating policy of an entire chain of facilities to be centrally managed.
Facilities that wish to participate in Demand Response programs enjoy key benefits when using our system. First, the lighting control patterns are not constrained by the breaker schedule. This allows for customizable and reconfigurable load reduction patterns that meet specific constraints, such as maintaining uniform light levels throughout the facility at all times. It also allows for multiple response patterns to be programmed for a given load-shedding request so that lamps are aged uniformly, the time of day is taken into account and other user-specified constraints are met. Secondly, the level of participation in Demand Response events is maximized because of the fine degree of granularity that this system can provide.
All of the operating attributes of the system can be modified and applied across the entire portfolio from an internet program. The software can be configured to operate according to centralized, localized or hybrid management strategies so that the access privileges granted to each user type is regulated.

Our Solutions offer control over both indoor and outdoor lighting systems, including exterior signage.
