Fifth Light Technology's Lighting Management System integrates the various technologies we have developed in order to achieve energy conservation. Our devices work in harmony to reduce operational costs via any combination of the following methods:

• Automatically - according to ambient light levels via photo sensor feedback
• Manually - by user commands issued through a computer based graphical user interface, (GUI) wall mounted keypads, and or a pre determined dimming schedule
• Remotely - via Internet in accordance with load shedding contracts between utilities and building owners

The ability to send and receive data to and from each individual light fixture presents several significant features:

• The autonomous operation of each light fixture from the next allows for complete adaptability to the ambient light level profile on a floor at any time of the day. This flexibility allows for the optimal balance between energy consumption and light output. This is accomplished in accordance with the three aforementioned strategies.
• Activate only the minimal number of lights required for off-hour access
• The ability to reconfigure lighting zones as tenant occupancy varies is a feature made possible by this system, since it is able to assign and reassign lights into specific zones by the click of the mouse.
• Provide building managers with information that accurately reflects the energy consumption of each tenant based on their actual energy consumption rather than an indiscriminate estimate based on a square footage proportion formula.
